SAN DIEGO RACE REPORT

Round 2 of the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross season took place in San Diego. In keeping with the Military Appreciation Race, the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC-KTM-WPS team featured camo graphics by Stellar MX and custom USMC seat covers by Seat Concepts.

A clutch problem in his heat forced Baggett to semi 1, where he had a solid ride to earn a spot in the main event. In the main, Baggett started out inside the top 10 but made a few mistakes that dropped him to the back of the pack. He finished in 20th.

“Tonight wasn’t my night.” said Baggett, “I have the speed to race up front. We will make some changes and look forward to next weekend at A2 for a better finish.”
